Easter Egg Debate

Please help my wife and I settle a debate we are having about Easter Eggs.

Growing up did the Easter bunny hide the hard boiled eggs you had colored, or did you find plastic eggs with money & or candy inside?

Over a decade together and today I’m learning that one of us found hard boiled eggs for Easter and the other searched for plastic eggs.

Please help us settle this.
