Help me decide (first car): MG ZS COM CVT vs BYD Seal 5 DM-i Dynamic
Hi! Planning to get my first car this month and I’m torn between these two:
- MG ZS Comfort CVT (ICE SUV)
- BYD Seal 5 DM-i Dynamic (Hybrid sedan)
Same price range, and I’m okay with either sedan or SUV.
My main concerns long-term are:
- Driving experience
- Reliability (especially since BYD is newer here)
- Resale value
For context:
- Mostly city driving (PH traffic)
- Around ~10–50 km/week
- Planning to keep the car long-term (5+ years)
Would really appreciate insights from owners or those who have test-driven both 🙏
