My dad is cheating on my stepmum

I love my dad, my dad and I are very close, he's my example of a real man. I've always said 'not every man, my dad is a good man' and here we are.

Maybe a month ago he mentioned wanting to work with this Thai lady (he works on his own) I asked him how this has come about, he said she's hard working and driven - fine - I said how would this make (let's call my stepmum Jane) feel? He responded saying its early days and just a thought and quickly left the subject.

I found this sus.

My mum phones me last week saying dad mentioned wanting to move to Thailand.... right that's a coincididink.

He's come to mine for Easter and he mentioned her so I started asking questions. He said he went for lunch with a friend who brought his family member (this thai lady, he said it felt like a zing for him and she asked for his number) and that's how he met her.

I asked if it was just chatting and above belt which he said it was (still not right but at least its JUST talking)

This is where it starts falling apart.

He had recently been close to where I live (5hrs from where my family are) picking things up for work, he stopped and visited a tourist attraction, I asked him why he hadn't mentioned he was so close as I would have met him. He left on the Friday night, and went home the Sunday.

Well, while we were talking he shows me pictures of her.. pictures of THEM at the tourist attraction, which means that stayed together in the hotel. He just laughed when I called him out.

So not only are they talking everyday (apparently for the last two months) but have also gone away for the weekend, sharing a room.

He says he doesn't find Jane attractive as she's fat and her body is sagging, bare in mind my dad is 65 this year and no spring chicken, this thai lady is 40. He says he stayed with Jane because she owns her house and is a stable roof over his head, when he moved in with her he had no money. Its been 6/7 years (ahaha yeah yeah 67) and her husband died before my dad met her, I think a year and a half prior. I think Jane is happy.

My uncle is a cheater, always has been and we have always looked down on it (naturally). I have spent years disgusted by it.

My father who I hold so highly has cheated on his partner of 6 years, who he was just using because 'she was a roof over his head'. I feel disgusted.

He says it'll probably fizzle out when she goes back to Thailand (she's only here on a visa 💀)

To top it off, that night he phoned her and spoke until 12pm keeping me up, he said that I 'supported them, and that I just want him to be happy' - I do but don't support it. He was saying about sorting out a house for them and a visa too. I have a small house so I could hear everything.

I feel disgusted, slightly used and angry and have no idea what to do. My family is so so dysfunctional and the only person I care about is doing and said this.
