SteamOS on Lenovo Legion Go 2 Z2E: Upgrade and Dual-Boot Possibilities

I’m considering purchasing the Lenovo Legion Go 2 Z2E, but I understand that a SteamOS version is expected to be released around June. Since the current Z2E model runs on Windows, I would like clarification on the following:

If I purchase the Windows version now, will it be possible to install the full SteamOS later once it becomes available?

Additionally, is dual-booting Windows and SteamOS expected to be supported on this device?

I am aware that alternatives such as Bazzite are currently available, though I assume official SteamOS support will be more refined upon release. For context, I have not previously owned a gaming handheld aside from the Nintendo Switch.
