wtf was that?

Ok, no idea who else to ask here. 2014 1500 V8. Brought her in last week and needed a few thousand of work. Mostly undercarriage things that had broken off. Truck had been driving “off” for a few weeks.

So all is fixed, car seems fine and I’m going 70 on the highway and I hear this loud vrooming sound on the right frontside of the car. It repeats like every second. I figure it’s a blown tire and get over immediately. Nothing seems off on the outside of the truck and I slowly make my way to a closed gas station but the sound persists. I don’t find anything searching the right side. Restart the car and switch it into 2 wheel drive just to see. And the sound is gone. I make it home staying under 30.

It’s Easter and won’t drive it today. Assume I should take it in immediately but weird that it drove home fine and no codes ever popped up.
