Which should I choose: IIM Sambalpur PGP or Kashipur/Jammu Analytics programs?

Hi everyone,

I am expecting to convert the following:

- IIM Sambalpur – PGP (core MBA) and Analytics

- IIM Jammu – MBA in AI & Analytics

- IIM Kashipur – MBA in Business Analytics

My profile:

- Work ex: ~2 years (will be ~2.5 by joining)

- Current role is related to GenAI

- Background: Engineering (Information Science)

My doubts:

1. Is choosing AI/Analytics over a general MBA a risky move in terms of long-term flexibility?

2. Between these options, which would offer better placements and career growth?

3. How do these colleges compare in terms of brand value and ROI?

4. Between a newer IIM (like Sambalpur/Jammu) and a relatively older/baby IIM (like Kashipur), how much does the college brand actually matter in the long run?

5. I’m currently working in GenAI — should I continue in this direction via a specialized MBA, or keep my options open with a general MBA?

Would really appreciate honest advice, especially from current students or alumni.
