My cat tripped me up and caused me to fall on my stomach…

I’m currently on day 6 of my recovery right now, I just posted literally last night venting about what I’ve been going through and how I’ve been doing better.

On the other post I spoke about my great grandmother about to pass and I pushed myself more than I should’ve. I was attempting to move around the house a lot more and around my bedroom to see if traveling for almost 4 hours would even be realistic(definitely wasn’t).

I have a pet cat who has been lovey-dovey on me since I came home from surgery. He got tangled up in my legs and tripped me up causing me to fall on my stomach.

Luckily I was near my bed and fell on it but I kid you not I sat there and cried like a baby. I couldn’t get up and move, my arms got tired having to move my entire body and I laid there in tears and sweat😭

I called my mom who’s currently at work and my sister who’s at her own place and told them what happened and that I couldn’t get a hold of my brother who was literally sleeping in the room next door.

I eventually got up on my own, checked my incisions and took note of how I was feeling afterwards and currently still monitoring myself. I feel just pain near the largest incision, pain under my ribs to my back on the left side then I started to feel queasy and just overall unwell due to the sharp pains.

It wasn’t funny while it was happening but I think now it’s just sorta funny and I’m using it as a coping mechanism for my pain and stress I’ve been feeling 😭
