[RevShare] Senior Developer in search for Art/GD Partner

Team Needed

I have some capacity off my main job as a Lead Engine Developer, which I'd like to spend on a game side project with the goal of eventually releasing it on Steam and alike.

What do I bring to the Table:

  • Over a decade of technical experience in architecting and writing games both in propreitary and off-the-shelf game engines & frameworks.
  • Experienced in effective Multiplayer/Netcode implementations
  • Know-how in effective workflows and leadership
  • Believe in extensive tooling to empower non-devs from implementing content
  • DevOps experence using a variety of tools
  • Willingness and capability to spend money on outsourcing, tooling & assets

What I'm searching for:

  • Be 21+, preferred with a stable job
  • Someone with a confident base set of know-how in either game design or artistic disciplines
  • Be able to take responsibility and be able to navigate the unknowns
  • EU or American East Coast for timezone overlap
  • Able to effectively communicate over Discord voice chat in english

Whats the game about?

Thats something I'd be brainstorming together. While I do come with a set of concepts/ideas that could be expanded upon, given the constraints with work like this, it would need to be something that aligns well with us boths interest and experience.

Personal Preferences:

  • Coop Survival esque (thats broad, I know :P)
  • 3D (If 2D, it needs to be topdown)
  • I like handpainted, low poly styles (also for speed of development)
  • I dont want: Platformers, Horror, Nieches
  • Hard requirement: It needs to be an honest game, not a cashgrab.
  • No eternity projects. Needs to be an achievable goal.

Hopefully I gave some insight into what I'd love to execute with somebody on. If I peaked your interest, please just reach out. If we notice there is little alignment, we just both move on. No shackles.

I'll happily send proof of my claims over on Discord or dm -> kiryu144
