Squealing sound coming from soundbar after getting new TV

I have a 9 year old sound bar Samsung K450. Its worked fine its entire life, until recently I got myself a new Samsung TV QN90F. I hooked it up to the tv with optical and everything worked fine for a day or so.

Ive always had issues with the sub disconnecting, so since the TV had eARC I thought I would try the ARC on the soundbar. Still had issues with the sub disconnecting. Then the squealing started. You would turn the tv on and there would be a high pitched alarm type squeal. I tried going back and forth between optical and ARC and the squealing would still happen. Tried changing all the settings on the tv itself for sound and it still does it.

Does anyone have any thoughts? Sometimes it works fine, most of the time is squeals.

Really dont want to have to buy a new soundbar.
