Just had my first Sangiovese

I was supposed to be on a break for a month but caved in at a week, wasn’t feeling any benefit from not having a glass a night but anyway.

Rosso di Montalcino, San Polino 2023, well that was beautiful. With the wines I buy they all tend to take a day to open up properly but it is what it is.

We’ll definitely be exploring more of this grape. I’d like to see if I can find one from Chile with excellent QPR.
