Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd Gen vs Fender Mustang Micro Plus
Yeah so, dumb question cuz I am comparing an interface with a portable mini amp. But I can only make one purchase and I'm confused on what to get, both similar price. Of course the Focusrite will have better recording quality I assume. But being able to travel with Micro Plus is a big thing for me, lets me take my guitar with me onto holiday and I know it can also record. I love the idea of the Micro Plus so it feels like a no brainer, but ideally I do one day want to release music. And so the Focusrite feels like the better long term investment, especially since if I get a microphone one day, I can record vocals through that or even my record my Fender Mustang LT25. But maybe some years later, I could end up buying the one I don't now. So my question really is, how different is the recording quality between the two? And are there any other better, or more budget friendly, interfaces out there I should look for?
