From patch to oral

Due to the patch shortage I was put in oral estradiol. I was moved from using a .075 patch to 1.5mg oral. Since switching to oral almost 4 weeks ago, I’ve been having the worst brain fog! I am mixing up my words, forgetting codes that I’ve been using for years. On top of that my hair is falling out like crazy, my moods are not great, I’m more irritable than normal. Anyone experience this from going to oral? I decided to try it because everyone raves how great it is. Should I try gel or stick with the oral at 2mg maybe?
