In need of some rudder repair advice

Hey all!

I've got a BoréalDesign Inukshuk kayak with a broken rudder block. The kayak is maybe 15 years old, so the rudder is by Feathercraft. The only Feathercraft rudder block I can find is this one with the short pin, and I need the long pin version. I could make it work with the short pin, but for $100 plus international shipping, I would prefer to get the actual thing I'm looking for.

Does anyone know where I might be able to find the right part, or would it be better to just swap out the rudder entirely? I guess it could also be possible to 3D print a new block and contact-cement the pin in place? If anyone has any experience with 3D printed parts, I'd love to hear it.
