44 [m4f] I'm different because of these sincere ramblings while I hope for connection. *sarcasm*
I commend you ladies. I am another guy here on Easter, desperately looking to separate myself from the pack of men who are actually ignoring their families to write these posts.
I have cleaned the house, made the food, and hidden the eggs. I try to be a good husband; I yearn to be a great father. Yet, I am still here.
I am a big, strong dude who is actually shy, but I go out of my way to be helpful and kind. I don’t like being described as "scary." I’m an ape-built motherfucker who can lift a car and run fast, but I can also write a poem—and I’m the world’s greatest big spoon.
I do feel ignored and underappreciated. But that is a feeling; who knows if that is the reality? I am a romantic who writes too much and sees life through that lens.
I seek a partner who wants to flirt, to dance with vulnerability in a song of hushed whispers. Someone who wants to be seen. I want a sense of realness, not this ghosting the second a conversation skips a beat.
I like women with full figures. Not to be coarse, but everyone has a type.
This feels more like a journal entry, so if you feel like replying, "journal" back to me. Should I write more? I’m 44, a South Dakotan, and I work full-time. I'm an aspiring "Dad Extraordinaire," but that’s a day-by-day challenge like everything else.
This is all over the place. I don’t drink, smoke, or do drugs (to be clear, weed isn't a drug). I’d better stop yapping and wish you a Happy Easter.
What song are you playing while you get ready for our first date?
