I'm doing okay. Day 25 sober now.

I have a purpose with this, not only to devote my life to a higher purpose, but also to hopefully obtain healing and enough mental clarity to enjoy the smaller joys in life. Where I'm at, I am experiencing intense foggy-headedness, urges, and emotional flatlining, but I maintain the hope that with consistent, small efforts to change my life for the better, I will begin to be able to think clearly again.

I believe brain fog is literally how it feels to rewire your brain. I have grasped at so many straws, trying to understand why it happens to me, getting anxious about doing recovery the wrong way. After over 12 years of attempts at recovery, I'm finally beginning to understand and accept this might just be how it is at the start of true recovery. May God fill the holes in my heart with this process and give me strength 🙏 ♥️
