I'm scared of doing Masters abroad.
Hi, I'm 24 and graduating with my bachelor's this June. I received an offer for an MSc in Computer Science at a Canadian university starting this September and I have until April 17th to accept or decline. Honestly, I don't feel ready. I've always been in a comfortable, sheltered environment and I've never really done things independently. I struggle with anxiety in many common situations..the idea of moving to a new country alone feels overwhelming.
I'm also second guessing my readiness. My internship experience is limited and I worry about whether I can compete in a new environment. The gap year option scares me too cause I'm worried I'll feel too old if I delay and that I'll regret letting this opportunity pass but if I go in September, I'm afraid I'll wish I had waited.
I've been going back and forth on this for a week and I genuinely can't decide. I just need an outside perspective.
