Horizon CC holder (15 days old) | 4 intl trips planned | Already have Scapia + Uni GoldX | What's missing from my stack?

Card Recommendation

My profile:

  • Salary: ₹10 LPA, in-hand ~₹73k
  • CIBIL: ~796
  • Annual CC spend: ~₹3.5-4L (mostly travel + daily life)
  • 4 international trips this year: Europe x2 (May + Dec), Japan (Oct), Vienna (Feb)
  • Booking style: Skyscanner → OTA → bank coupon stacking for flights | Agoda/Airbnb for hotels ( this hack in flight saves me 7-8k per ticket in-compare to cc portals or direct airline)

Current stack:

  • Axis Horizon (15 days old, 24 miles, no welcome miles — long story involving ₹2 verification charge lol)
  • Scapia Federal (zero forex, use abroad) - newly taken 4L limit
  • Uni Gold X (1% gold back) - newly taken 4L limit
  • ICICI Coral Visa (₹5.6L limit, old card, bad rewards)
  • Flipkart Axis (cashback on Cleartrip/Flipkart)
  • Swiggy HDFC (food only) - just closed cuz they got me stuck at 31k limit for 2 yrs and gave bad support and communication
  • PNB RuPay (barely use)

How I currently use each:

  • Horizon → all India card spends (2x miles), flights via OTA
  • Scapia → every swipe abroad (0% forex)
  • Uni → occasional use, not sure where it fits
  • Rest → mostly inactive

What I'm trying to figure out:

  1. With Accor and Qatar now gone from Axis transfer partners, is Horizon still worth keeping at renewal?
  2. My OTA habit (Skyscanner → MMT/Cleartrip coupon → Horizon for 2x miles) — am I leaving too much on the table vs booking direct on airline for 5x?
  3. Is there any card under ₹5k annual fee that fills a gap in my stack? HDFC Regalia Gold ineligible (income too low). HSBC TravelOne was suggested to me — thoughts on Horizon vs TravelOne given Accor is now gone?
  4. Where does Uni Gold X actually fit vs just using Horizon for everything domestic?

What I DON'T want:

  • Cards requiring ₹1L+/month salary
  • HDFC cards (bad relationship with them)

Appreciate any real-world inputs, especially from people who've used Horizon post Accor removal. What are you transferring to now?
