quick vent/ rant

theres nothing to do abt this i js wanna get it off my chest.

ive been passionate abt computer eng for a long time. ive considered it since gr 9 and ive loved coding, did cs courses, was in a cs club etc. u get the point. now i made the mistake of coming to mac since comp eng is looking competitive this year and my cgpa is looking cooked as hell. plus my mental health was at an all time low.

i have friends who throughout the entire year showed absolutely no interest in comp eng but now suddenly switched up and want to do it for the money. and they 100% will make the seats since they have really high gpas.

i feel like shit but ive kinda accepted the fact i wont get my dream eng. but at the same time it reallyyyy hurts and lowkey pisses me off that the ones who dont even truly feel passionate or care abt the field are the ones getting the seats (im probably js coping for having shit grades lmao). i probably shouldve js chosen a diff uni where there was direct entry into comp eng since first year and thats on me sooooooo yeah.
