Potential Fraud from Companies in Nigeria

Hi Redditors, I am slightly panicking as over the last few days I have received emails from 2 companies in Lagos, Nigeria that have stated either ‘Welcome/Thank you for activating your account’. These sound like loan companies. I received one yesterday from Kredi Bank stating Welcome (the other two companies were CredPal and Urgent10k). Please advise what procedures I can check to see if this is fraudulent and how to prevent/secure any funds being taken out in my name. Thank you!
