Someone attempted to embarrass/shame me using the fact that I collect dolls... Didn't work ๐Ÿ˜Ž

I'm moving into a barn house someone was using for storage (long story). This person is unwilling to move their stuff themselves, but they keep getting mad about how I'm moving things (my freaking kids are going to live here, lady, I need to clean!). I'm being very respectful of their things, nothing has been thrown away and everything is organized in the spot I was told to move things to, but she couldn't find one box for one second and she came unglued and stormed into my place fuming and stomping around.

she glares at me, asks where her son's old Halloween costumes are (he's 40 by the way) goes upstairs (which is empty so she officially has no right to be up there) and very loudly projected so I could hear,

"Oh good, you took out all my stuff so you'll have room for your stupid dolls!"

I think she thought she was putting me in my place. like in her mind she was looking for important grown up memories and I'm taking over with my silly immature and frivolous collection. but it did not hit me that way, she was just lashing out and I wasn't going to take the bait.

I'm grown too. I have kids and responsibilities and boring grown up stuff too, AND I have my sense of wonder, my excitement for my hobby, and a wonderful warm feeling and connection with my collection. Deal with it.

when she said that my thought wasn't "she is right, I need to grow up",

I thought, "A doll collector would never be as rude as you, lady. Think what you want."
