thermoworks usb connectors?

can anyone confirm that its not just me, and that you cant charge at least the Signals with a standard USB-C connector? Doesnt seem to work with anything I have regardless of charge strength. Have tried everything from older 1.2A stuff all the way up to my fancy Anker chanrgers. Biggest thing holding me back from picking up an RFX honestly.
