How to play hard to get without teasing/doing to much (just small ways)
Hi! I'm 18F and recently started dating my girlfriend (21F). She's my first relationship and also my first sexual partner.
Our intimate time has been really good-she's more experienced and usually takes the lead, and she always makes me feel amazing. The only issue is that she doesn't really like anything being done to her.
She's okay with me touching her chest, but she doesn't like me seeing or touching her more intimately. I tried once, but she prefers a very specific kind of stimulation and it didn't really work, so we haven't tried again.
I've talked to her about it, and she says she genuinely enjoys just making me feel good and that it turns her on.
I do believe her, but I still feel kind of selfish always receiving and not being able to give back in the same way.
So the other day I really was trying to figure out how to make her feel better and she also told me she likes when I "play hard to get" because it makes her more dominant/rough (which I really like), but I'm confused about what that actually looks like in practice. She doesn't like teasing, and she doesn't want me to take the lead, so I feel like I'm walking a fine line.
The one time I tried it, she leaned in for a kiss and I pulled back slow, she leaned in again and i pulled back more pushing myself back on the bed and told her "come get it," and she loved it and got more rough-but I don't really know what else to do beyond that.
So I'm looking for advice on a couple things
- How do I "play hard to get" without it turning into teasing or me taking control?
Like, what are some specific things I can do or say in the moment that would encourage her to be more dominant?
- How can I make her feel good if she doesn't like being touched much?
Are there other ways (physical or not) that I can focus on her and make things feel more mutual?
- If anyone has experience with a partner who has very specific preferences, how did you learn what works for them without making it awkward?
I really care about her and just want things to feel good for both of us, so any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
