Barrier butter texture

So this is my second tube of the barrier butter and this definitely didn't happen with the first one. but every time I put it on it feels like there's fuzzies or something in the lotion. I've tried just using the lotion by itself to make sure it wasn't just interacting with something else on my skin and it still feels that way. has anyone else had this issue?
