GenX ready to let go of CDs/vinyl

I’m looking to part ways with the CD collection I’ve been dragging around for years. A lot of ‘80s and ‘90s stuff but some later stuff too. What’s the best option for selling in the Greenville area? Bands I have a lot of: Sonic Youth, REM, Magnapop, Michelle Malone, Adam and the Ants, Aimee Mann, Hole, Indigo Girls, Neko Case. A good bit of Neko vinyl too.

I went to Horizon with a stack of CDs a few months ago and the employee was very young and didn’t know who half the bands were so he rejected them. An older guy came over and looked through them then bought almost all of them, but for very little money.

Is it worth it to go through the trouble of posting on Marketplace?
