Question about Ammuk and the Battlesuit raid team.

The latest TA has sold me on the Tau and made me stop being sad about getting Shadowsun shards. So now I'm thinking about using my pile of Xenos resources for Battlesuit raid team (Farisght, Re'Vas, Actus, Darkstrider, and Eldyron/Ammuk).

My question is about the use of Ammuk versus Eldyron. As I understand it, Farsight's passive should make ensure that Ammuk's damage buff is applied one way or the other, regardless of whether or not the boss has moved. Ammuk's summon does more damage than Eldryon does and Ammuk's buff applies at one and two tile range so it is less picky about positions.

So is my thinking is correct and Ammuk is a viable replacement being easier to use with slightly more damage. Are people just sleeping on him, or is it not a big enough difference to justify leveling a new character?
