An Experimental Accord

Was up early this morning and this just hit me. Played with the percentages a few times until I came up with what I’m calling the “Bloom Accord” because of the effect it has on pretty much anything I add it to.

35% Orcanox

25% Ethyl Maltol

20% Coumarin

20% Hedione High-Cis

Dilute to 10% in ETOH

When paired with woods adds a sweet mostly transparent projection. With Vanilla/Benzoin/Labdanum it pulls them up from the base and gives them a crisp modern edge. Amplifies musks like Exaltolide Total and Ethylene Brassylate making them almost a complete fragrance by themselves. Love what it does with Rose and Rose adjacent chems like Damascone Beta and PADMA.
