Recruitment process

Hello everyone,

I had an in-person interview for customer assistant on Thursday (2nd April) and was told my the store manager at the end that I should hear back in 48 hours. It's past that mark now and I haven't heard anything but I did look on the careers portal and it says "In Progress 4/4/26". Is this a promising sign? I have heard before that lidl don't contact people during the weekend and I am unsure if they would contact me tomorrow given it's the Easter weekend. I have emailed the recruiter that I had my telephone interview with but she hasn't responded yet. Do you think I will hear back? When do you think this will be? Do they still get in contact with you if you are unsuccessful?
