Does the HTM game accurately represent an agent's life (even if satirical)

I've created Hollywood Talent Manager and I keep losing clients because I can't keep up with their 'ego' levels and the networking events. Is the industry really that brutal? I'm curious if any real agents here have played it and if the mechanics (like poaching talent) are actually realistic even if it's satirical.
