Next step from Bambino? [$500]

Hi folks, I’ve been using my Bambino (non-Plus) for a few years and have learned to work around the functions/limitations of the machine. I’m at the point to where I’m wondering if there’s a reasonable “next step / upgrade” from the Bambino while maintaining a budget of around $500.

So far, I’ve found the Legato / Apex machines but wondering if there’s anything else out there with the same functionality.

Paired with a DF54, which I think has treated me well.
