How does a ham/amateur obtain firmware update files for a 4550?

I'm a ham, and a batch of retired xpr4550's just ended up in my lap - UHF and VHF variants that cover the ham band. I've got CPS16 reading and writing to the radios no problem, so this isn't one of those posts... Not quite one of those posts but almost I guess...

I'm giving them away to members of my local club who want them. I'd like to make it easier to manage. What I'd like to do is factory reset each one and get them all on the same firmware.

I don't even care if it's the latest firmware (which I understand is 1.12.17). The latest one on any of these is 1.08.20 - which would be just fine also. I just want them to share a common firmware/codeplug version.

I've tried following various forum posts on instructions for hobbyists to get a moto account, but they're all so old at this point, and even some of the links on the moto site itself are 404. There's some sketchy sites that claim they can provide it if I pay for an expensive yearly subscription... but they don't appear affiliated with motorola, and since it's not even their stuff to sell in the first place, nope.

Anyone have any leads or willing to share? Thanks!
