Hello everyone! I’m back again with another update for Pokemon Mythril Version! The romhack is coming along quite well at the moment, with story, coding, mapmaking and of course spriting well underway! I thought I’d stop in once again to share a few of the newest Fakemon/Regional form sprites that have been developed the past couple of weeks!

Vampifaer: The final stage evolution of the grass starter. Grass/Fairy type. It is said Vampifaer were used in ancient times to guard berry orchards from pests and thieves. The berries that grow on their pelts are said to have strange, otherworldly powers. They may even grant immortality, though no one is certain since they are rarely shared with others.

Solaires: The final stage evolution of the fire starter. Fire/Psychic type. Solaires’ pelt glows with starlight; it is said the constellations in its fur are from a far away galaxy. Fortune tellers love this Pokemon for its powers of foresight. Its horns glow with the intensity of the sun, blinding and scorching enemies at the same time.

Coralisk: The final stage evolution of the water starter. Water/Rock type. Known as guardians of the sea, Coralisk ferociously protect the coral reefs they call home. They are even known to attack ships and submarines who stray too close. The stone their previous evolutions inhabited has now fused with their bodies, forming an incredibly tough shell of rock and living coral.

Dawdledoo: the counterpart to Cluckacoo (see my previous post) this is the evolution for male Chunkacheep. Flying/fighting type. They are very territorial, attacking intruders with their sharp beak and talons. However, when near Chunkacheep, they become incredibly docile, tending to the young Pokemon and doting on them like a father. They collect egg shell shards from Chunkacheep and wear them like battle armor.

Fomoxle: the first pokemon in a 2 stage evolution line, Fomoxle is pure fairy type. They live far beneath the ground in dark caves, especially those with water sources. They love to prank people and other Pokemon found exploring their caves.

Gloopup: The first of a 3 stage ground/fairy type Pokemon line. Gloopup makes a mess wherever it goes, dripping a sweet tasting ooze on everything. Their owners never seem to mind the mess, since they can use the ooze to make delicious sweet treats!

Grubyo & Kaburyo: this line is a special one. I acquired the design from an incredibly talented artist on ko-fi: FomigaArtz! Please give their page a follow and maybe grab some of their incredible designs for yourself :)

Grubyo & Kaburyo are planned to be Bug/Ghost types. The pokemon are often found in mossy old ruins; it is said they are mere shells inhabited by the spirits of long gone warriors seeking revenge.

Last but not least, we have a new regional form: Tirren Orbeetle. It is an electric/steel type now. Tirren Orbeetle are often found near high traffic areas, sapping the electrical charge off of human devices. They use their vast array of blinking lights to communicate with other Orbeetle from miles away, especially when they’ve found a rich electrical source to feed on.

That’s all for now! Hope you enjoyed these sprites. In the near future, I hope to be able to share some early game maps with you all :) and of course as many new sprites as I can haha!
