M25 Colorado I'm kinda new to keeping slaves and not sure if I'm doing it right

I got out of a relationship almost a year ago and did some real self reflection. Come to find out, part of the reason we didn't work out was because I wasn't honest about what I wanted from her. I tried to be a gentle caring dom, and it turns out I'm sadistic and degrading toward my subs. I found that I like to break my subs down and rebuild them the way I like them during play. An interesting change from the outlook I tried to have for a while. So, I'm looking for advice and hopefully some slave pets if anyone's interested. I have rules that I want my pets to follow, and I like when people are willing to share pics. Hoping people are inclined to help
