Landlady acting strange after meeting my boyfriend. Am I overthinking this?

Problem/Goal:

I want advice on whether it’s normal for my landlady to act a little controlling/observant when my boyfriend visits, and whether it’s safe for him to occasionally stay over at my apartment.

Context:

I’m a 24-year-old medical student in the Philippines, already a board-licensed health professional. I recently moved into a small apartment. My dad currently pays the rent, but starting next month I might pay for my own rent and living expenses once my scholarship stipend comes through.

My boyfriend of 4 years (a working engineer) and I are in a long-distance relationship, so we only get to see each other about once a week if we’re lucky, sometimes only once every two weeks. Because of that, I’d like him to be able to stay overnight when he visits so we can spend meaningful time together.

Earlier today, my boyfriend and his brother came by to drop off my laundry and his laptop while I was out. My landlady met them and reportedly had a “poker face.” Later, around 5pm, I noticed her outside, seemingly looking at us while we were on the motorcycle heading to my apartment. Around 8pm, after my boyfriend left, she knocked on my door and started a conversation about seeing him earlier and the wifi installation. She didn’t explicitly say anything about guests not being allowed or him not staying over, but the timing made me feel like she might have been checking if he had already left.

Since my dad is paying the rent and she has contact with my family, I’m worried she might tell them about my boyfriend visiting or staying over sometimes.

Previous Attempts:

I haven’t spoken directly to her about overnight guests yet, and no rules about visitors were mentioned when I first moved in. I’ve been careful and respectful with her so far. I've asked her if visitors were allowed when I just checking this place out last week and she said "You are old enough I trust you to make the right decisions". Yet I feel like her actions read as nosy and controlling for my overthinking brain.

Looking for guidance from people familiar with renting in the Philippines: is this normal landlord behavior? Should I be cautious about allowing my boyfriend to stay over occasionally, given the circumstances?
