This genome of mango tree are known for having the largest mangoes on the planet, growing to 20-30 ft tall and can even grow all the way to 45 ft tall, which helps it stay safe from ground herbivores.
weeping willow: These massive trees add their unique structure, having large branches that can be great homes for smaller animals, while also adding durable and great water-absorbing roots, which are known to be very aggressive, able to thrive in humid environments. They are great at countering soil erosion too, which helps the biome thrive, mainly found around large water sources.
Whistling thorn; This species of Acadia tree adds spines and swollen thorns across the tree, acting to spikes against herbivores to keep its leaves safe, while also allowing a sort of symbiosis. By creating and releasing a type of nectar, which attracts ants to live in the hollow thorn bulbs, which act as another defense mechanism. The final addition would be, when under attack, the tree can release a lot of tannins which shrivels and hardens the leaves to make them inedible.
giant sequoia; These massive trees act as a partial size contributor, not reaching their insane sizes but increasing size by a bit. They also increase bark thickness to keep predators from damaging the tree itself.
Comfrey: This small shrub adds deeper taproots to accumulate potassium, calcium, and phosphorus, the main nutrients needed for this plants growth plus the deepened taproots adds better stability to the plant during high winds and also lets for more surface area in the roots to absorb water and nutrients from the dirt.
Maple tree; This large Canadian tree adds larger amounts of sap to the tree, which allows for better transportation of energy-rich nutrients.
