Pretty darn good rechargeable 9 volt batteries...

Hey doods!

For those who go through a lot of 9 volt batteries, in all of my years decades of performing and running sound, I have found only one 9 volt battery that actually works in all audio transmitters, actually FITS in all devices, performs consistently and provides amazing value. It is the Ansmann Max-E TYP 300 NiMH battery.

At any give time I own 8-10 of these batteries and I use all of them. Generally speaking they last roughly 6 years before I have to take them out of service.

I date all my batteries:

The left battery is being taken out of service today, as it finally refused to take a charge yesterday. The battery on the right is still going strong.

These batteries are expensive. You can expect to pay around 15 bux each. But they ROI themselves pretty quickly. I do shows every weekend. The only time any of these batteries have died or failed is when they have reached their end of service. I can't say enough good things about these guys.

If you have run the gamut trying to find a 9V battery that actually works, your search stops here.

Disclaimer; I don't work for Ansmann, nor am I sponsored by them in any way, shape or form. I pay full retail for my batteries just like everyone else.
