Is there a way to unequip Wolfs Sword and Shield?

I want to quickly change between my one hand sword and my shield.

But Wolfs Sword and Wolfs Shield take up two spaces there and always need to be rolled through.

I can't sell them and I can't place them in my chest.

I hope they fix this.
