Standard Motor Parts?

I need to replace the VVT actuator on my 2016 Honda civic 1.5T. I ordered from hondapartsnow and my order seems to be stuck on “verification”. I found the part in rockauto , which is a SMP part and I can have it here in a couple of days.

For a part like this, is SMP acceptable ? Car needs to pass inspection in 3 weeks to drop an expired tag ticket so slight time crunch.

Keep waiting for OEM or is SMP is good to go ?
