Anyone struggle to have a relationship with Jesus? It feels like prayer is just me talking to myself.

I wish to have a relationship with Jesus. I pray very often. I pray for others, I pray for understanding in Gods plan for me. I pray for patience. But it seems no matter how hard I pray, it honestly feels like I’m just talking to myself. Or like I have an imaginary friend, but they don’t engage with me. Lol. Does anyone else struggle to feel Jesus’s presence even though you are trying?
