Emerging wisdom tooth advice?

I recently noticed that one of my wisdom teeth is emerging. It's only a bit uncomfortable so I dont think it'll cause any big problems, however it did split my gums a bit already. So I'd like to ask, is there anything I should avoid eating or doing?

I keep finding advice about wisdom tooth removal rather than what to do when it's emerging, so any help will be appreciated!
