Ep 12 season 5 (spoiler)

So we know that this episode is the 100th of the series and is a whole “what if..” with a twisted ending.

Clark tells Lana the secret and asks her to marry him, I think the “marry me” is too much.

And Lana talking with Lois about “what would you do if you thought you knew someone well and it turns out there’s this whole other side to them?” And Lois asks her “does it change the way you feel about him?” And Lana says “maybe” but, the surprise for me was Lois saying “I would be lucky to end up with someone as honorable as Clark someday”. I never believed Lois would be so open about this kind of feeling or acknowledge that about Clark.

And Lex being a sore loser and playing victim in front of Lana. (We all know how he groomed/is grooming her)

All that was a giveaway that it could be a what if storie, like the Lexmas episode.

Well unfortunately we know what happens at the end of this episode.

And I thought Lionel was having his “redeeming arch” by now.

Is just disappointing, though we know he will end up with Lois, is season 5 ffs I believe Lana should already know the secret and I think is it was a shit episode overall. Just wanted to vent about this ep, I’m open to other povs
