That one hurt

I watch a ton of Gamecock women’s basketball, and I’ll admit it’s fun when your team wins more often than not. I wanted that one badly. I wanted it because Carolina is my favorite team obviously, but because this didn’t feel like Dawn’s best team. Yet they kept advancing and you down the best team to get here.

I really thought we had the depth and athleticism to take down UCLA. They just played way better. Oddly enough, Carolina looked sluggish, they didn’t rebound well, they didn’t do any of the small things right. I don’t think UCLA is 30 points better than South Carolina; the Gamecocks just laid an egg. Tough ending.
