Since so many people are posting their Dome photos, I'll share mine too. I don't have any cats, dogs, or even Easter egg hunts to share so I hope you like my boots. I'm an underground laborer for the LiUNA Local 185 and find myself doing all kinds of tasks that require me to count on my equipment including my boots. It rained the first week I wore the boots and I hit them with some Obenauf's Oil. I was kind of disappointed because I really like the color of the 1964 Tan Roughout. The boots broke in really smooth and I was able to wear them full days from the first day. The T55 last is great for people like me with feet still shaped like feet. This was my first time doing the work category in the Patina Thunderdome and had a great time. I will say that it was kind of awkward taking pictures of my boots at first. After I shared with the guys there was a $5k prize at stake they kept the stares to themselves 😂. Even if I don't win the top prize I have a cool story and a great pair of boots. I also got and wore a 1964 Tan Roughout work belt for the leather goods category. Even though I swore off leather belts and had previously made a switch to Grip6 belts, I will say that the Nicks belt has held up well and all the reasons I stopped wearing leather belts weren't so bad. One thing I didn't like is the Chicago screws. Both screws fell out and I almost lost my buckle one day at work. I would like to see snaps used for the belt. I was able to rob a couple Chicago screws from my key clips for the belt to keep going but now the key clips are unusable 😢. Not a huge deal, I'll get some screws one day. Thanks Nicks for your dedication to the craft, community, your customers and for all the things you do behind the scenes to make this world better one step at a time.

Happy Easter, Dome photos
