Will getting a bob affect acting chances?

Hello everyone! I am mom and my daughter (15) wants to get into acting.

She has this beautiful, thick, healthy, long hair with layers. While I think she looks beautiful with any haircut, she wants to be a bob/shoulder length haircut. From the research I have done, she does not appear to have a specific type cast but I know the acting business relies lots on looks.

Some Google search’s says it may even help her chances of booking things but she is nervous about it. She is working hard and I don’t want to this difficult path to be made even more difficult. (I apologize if this is a stupid question to ask but I don’t have many actors in my life)

EDIT) My teen is also agrees with me on the potential consequences. She was the one who wanted me to post this
