Teto's official profile has some details like her love of baguettes and Norway, being good at extending DVD rentals and being a 31-year old tsundere chimera hag. But between her inception and now the community has created many unofficial headcanons about our beloved redheaded fatty, and I want to hear yours!

I'll share some of mine:

\-Her real name is "Teto Pettenson", Kasane is just her stage name to match the other Japanese idol girls. Teto's family moved to Japan when she was little after her mom married a Japanese soldier (hence her military uniform)

\-Her human form is an illusion she casts, but as she is not very good at it, some flaws are present like the weird pupils or the belt-tail. When she gets annoyed more of her true form comes out, like her wings or horns.

\-Teto, Neru and Miku were high school friends, they became close because they were all bullied for having been held back three years straight (Neru due to absence, Teto due to not understanding human culture and Miku due to being an idiot)

\-She also sometimes hung out with Haku, but Haku was always closest to Neru. She was too much of an introvert to be able to handle someone with such a hyperactive personality as Teto.

\-Dr. Kidori (of Igaku/Medicine and Pathological Facade fame) is actually entirely unrelated to Teto. She's just a random doctor who happens to look identical to her.

\-Teto learned how to sing from the other VIPPERloids, particularly Ruko, who felt some sympathy for Teto since he's also a chimera (albeit a genetic chimera instead). But in the present day, Teto seldom speaks with them.

\-After that, Teto began to sing professionally and formed a trio with Uta Utane and Momo Momone, becoming known as "The 3 UTAU Girls". During this period, Teto had a strong (one-sided) rivalry with her former friend Hatsune Miku due to her being her biggest musical competition, often insulting the high price of admission for her concerts, among other things.

\-Teto's biggest fan is her older brother, Kasane Ted (you may remember him from Teto Territory). He takes any opportunity to shill his sister's music to strangers, and has a rivalry with Miku's brother Mikuo for insisting his sister is cuter and more talented. But he likes Neru's little brother Nero, since he's babysat him for her on occasion.

\-When Teto got signed to the SynthV record label, her whole world changed. She left her old UTAU partners behind and achieved international fame. She even released several collabs with Miku, as if all their bad blood had never happened. Some old-timers in the fandom accuse Teto of selling out, but she doesn't care, she's on top of the world! She's happy! ...Right?

\-Teto suffers from Fraud Syndrome and feels a constant pressure to prove to the world and herself that she deserves a place in the spotlight. While she would never admit it, she does miss making indie songs with the VIPPERs without needing to pander to millions of fans. Sometimes she thinks of calling Utane and Momone to do a collab for old time's sake, but... no, it wouldn't be a success. And there's no way they'd want to see her again, anyway. Never mind.
