Petra Dayton Log 4

The shuttles landed with Class 1 and 2 and new instructors. I love being on this brand new ships. All instructors are quarted together in individual rooms. First time I am on a Royal Navy ship not in barracks for commoners. All pilots have individual rooms with private washroom and shower.

All new instructors were brought to see the Raptors Y. Someone asked what the Y stood for and someone said that this was the most recent upgrades by an Ykanti Engineer.

We then were issued our space suits. We then returned to the Fighters and all instructors went through our lesson plans in space for the first time.

While we rotated as instructor the rest of each squadron was acting as students.

I had logged in many hours in a short time in the training pods but nothing beats flying in the black.

Tomorrow we are starting an anti pirate and Drazzan patrol in this sector for a month which will bring us back to Haego in time to pick up Class 3 and resupply with fresh stores. I will then go back to training center and this ship will join the Princess Fleet.

Most students have already put in minimal 20 hours in Pods at the Training School. They will start flying tomorrow. Enemy force for exercises will be Class 1 graduates.

All instructors went out for our first flight today. Launching was interesting. I climbed in my cockpit. Ground crew buckled me in quick. They cleared around my launchpad. Shield went up. All air tucked out. Launch door open quickly. Launch rockets push me out. Door closed behind me.

I was joined by my squadron and soon we were in wedge formation. We formed in different patrol formations. We then Broke off in squadrons. Half acting as enemy force and other half eventually try to find and engage them.

Exercise was amazing and the Y is very respondent to my controls.

We ligned up at back of the light carriers and landed one squadron at a time.

Robots grabbed us. I exited the cockpit and watched it being moved to refuel and re-armed positions then back to its launch position. Tecknitians started their inspections.

Food is ok here but better in Newtown. Finally on board compliment is not complete.

Auxilia 2000 (Present 0) In two month the first group of 2000 are joining the ship. Because of their role and timing the will complete their course learning to defend the ship and do damage control.
