Companion Certificate

I’m an elite platinum but my friend is elite gold but has earned companion certificates.

My elite platinum I can use my companion pass for millage bookings but I have to call support and usually someone know how to book it.

I have been on the phone and Companion certificates no one knows what they are, they make up stuff just to get you off the phone, they are so ignorant they walk you though how to book it on the website then doesn’t know what to do when it’s not a mileage option.

I’ve been on the phone with 5 different people and no one can give me an answer if it works with millage bookings or not. I just want an answer, the website isn’t clear they don’t know what to do and the flight cost $250 or 10,000 miles.

Has anyone been able to get them to book a millage companion certificate? Or is this a never ending support circle.
