My now ex exposed me to hsv2. He tested positive after He had an outbreak. It's been 5 weeks sincewehadsex and I got tested using a blood test because I have no symptoms for them to swab . Itwasa pcr bloodtest. Now I'm seeing online that I should've had an igg test to check for antibodies instead.
continued....if l did the igg test and ir was positive would the pcr be too? in this case pcr is negative does that mean igg would be negative too?
