Club options

Bought a set of new irons, learned that my A wedge and my 52 are the same club, looking for an option to replace one of them with, not sure where to fill the gap if I need to. One of my buddies recommended I swap the 52 with a 7 wood, but i feel like the 7 wood would be the same as my hybrid. My gut feeling is just telling me to remove the 52 degree and just not add anything. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated
