Hasn’t accepted my follow request on instagram

Met this guy, spoke for 3 hours, had an incredible conversation. I mentioned how my partner passed away and it was the first time since I felt a connection with someone. He was flirty and sweet. I found him on instagram. He didn’t accept my request and changed his profile picture to a black photo. Am I overthinking? Or is that a clear sign? I requested to follow him yesterday.
