how does this game compare to afk journey?

i recently discovered this game and it actually looks really good so far, but i wanted to ask how it compares to afk journey?

i played afk journey for about ~5 months after launch and honestly really enjoyed it. i was a light spender (mostly just the battle passes), but eventually dropped it.

so i’m curious:

1. how is the gacha/monetization compared to afk journey?

is it better or worse for light spenders?

2. does it rely heavily on dupes like other idle gachas?

3. are there leaderboards with exclusive rewards or heavy p2w pressure?

4. is pvp a primary focus?

just trying to get a feel before i invest time into it again 🙏
